Find answers to common questions about using TelehealthPH.

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Visit telehealthph.com and click "Book a Consult." You will be asked to provide your name, email address, and phone number. You can also sign up using your Google or Facebook account for faster registration.

How do I book my first consultation?

After creating your account, select your preferred consultation type (chat, video, or phone), choose an available time slot, complete payment, and you will be connected with a licensed physician. For chat consultations, you can start immediately if a doctor is available.

What devices and browsers are supported?

TelehealthPH works on any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. For video consultations, ensure your device has a working camera and microphone. No app download is required.

Consultations

What should I expect during a consultation?

Chat: A text-based conversation with your doctor. You can share photos of symptoms. Ideal for quick questions and follow-ups. Video: A face-to-face video call for visual examinations and more detailed consultations. Up to 20 minutes per session. Phone: A voice call with your doctor, perfect when video is not practical or you prefer audio-only.

How long do consultations last?

Chat consultations are typically 10-15 minutes. Video and phone consultations last up to 20 minutes. If your doctor needs more time, they will extend the session at no additional charge.

What conditions can be treated?

Our doctors can treat a wide range of common conditions including coughs and colds, fever, allergies, skin conditions, UTIs, stomach problems, headaches, stress and anxiety, and more. They can also issue e-prescriptions, medical certificates, and specialist referrals.

When should I visit an in-person clinic instead?

TelehealthPH is not a replacement for emergency care. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, or any life-threatening symptoms, please call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Prescriptions & Certificates

How do e-prescriptions work?

After your consultation, if medication is needed, your doctor will issue a digitally signed e-prescription. You will receive it via email and it will also be available in your TelehealthPH account. The prescription includes the doctor's PRC license number and digital signature.

Which pharmacies accept e-prescriptions?

Most major pharmacy chains in the Philippines accept digital prescriptions, including Mercury Drug, Watsons, The Generics Pharmacy, Rose Pharmacy, and Southstar Drug. Some independent pharmacies may also accept them. We recommend calling your preferred pharmacy to confirm before visiting.

How do I get a medical certificate?

Simply request a medical certificate during your consultation. Your doctor will issue one if clinically appropriate. Medical certificates are digitally signed and can be downloaded from your account or received via email.

Are these documents legally valid?

Yes. E-prescriptions and medical certificates issued by TelehealthPH doctors are signed by PRC-licensed physicians and are legally valid documents in the Philippines, in accordance with applicable telehealth regulations.
